Two friends, Jenny and Becky created Dixieboo in 2021. Both grew up in fashion with parents both having apparel businesses. Becky grew up in London and Hong Kong seeing the top designers leading the runways. “It was always in the genes to design my own brand. As a mother of two energetic boys who is always on the go, I am nearly always in leggings. I need to have functional pairs of leggings that I can feel comfortable in everyday wear and that do not move when I am coaching or playing hockey.”
Jenny is a mother of a teenage girl and an energetic boy and spends her life running around after them. She loves going to the gym and walking a lot. “Being a curvy woman I live in leggings and I am always searching for comfortable support and hold – leggings that do not move when exercising. All the leggings I tried in the past did not give me the support I needed for my waist and thigh area. Having designed and perfected the stitching we are confident the garment will fit in comfort and security.”
We take pride in capturing inclusivity including women from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. We understand that every woman is unique from the curves on her body, to the challenges she faces in her life, to the circumstances that she is given. We full heartedly believe in making each woman’s strength, beauty and power known to her and helping her express those unique qualities with each piece that we launch. “I think, to be a woman, we should be confident in our own skin. We have produced a product that makes us body confident.”
